Tasmanian sport scientist Dr. Joel Mason joined the Tassie Athlete team from Germany to discuss all things sports science.

Following a series of online articles, Joel shot to online fame following his article “Bundesliga Blueprint” - and has since been featured by no less than the ABC News, New York Times, AFL, TIFO football (750,000 subs), NBA, EPL, The Times, ESPN.

Joel joins us to talk all things sport science, including his own love for track and field, and delves into some realisations that achieving success within your chosen sport may not be as linear as it seems.

Joel has also started up Trackademic, the online journal and Instagram account where he shares his snack-sized sport science insights and analysis.
