2019 State XCO Series - Round 1

We captured some Tassie Athletes taking to the Tolosa mountain bike trails for round one of the XCO series.

We were kindly invited to check out the first series of the 2019 XCO mountain bike series, held at Tolosa Park near Hobart.

Dusty trails and a beaming sun made for a ripper event, which featured a diverse range of scenery for both riders and spectators and some challenging, rocky climbs.

Riders took to either 3-4 laps of the course around the mountain bike park, and as my first XC cycling event - it was a great spectacle that allowed family members and friends to view riders at multiple points.

The event is hosted by the Hobart Wheelers Dirt Devils club, and there are another two events as a part of the state series held around Tassie.
