Form: Your favourite running routes in Tasmania

We're searching to create a community generated list of running places across the whole of Tasmania.

Help us collect the best places to run in tasmania

Whether you're completely new to running or looking to find a new destination, knowing where to get started and where to go can be tough.

We're on the hunt to create a community-generated list of the places you love to run in Tasmania - whether they're an easy jog or tackling some awesome trails.

Community plays such a big part in Tasmania - and when it comes to running routes, there's no better place to start compiling a list than hearing from the locals.

Fill in the following form and we'll compile the list into a resource which will be available on the Tassie Athlete website (and, potentially a download in the future).

Each run will be attributed to the person who submits it, as we look to create a comprehensive resource on where to run if you're a local or perhaps visiting Tasmania.

If you've got any questions, feedback or suggestions, please feel free to email thetassieathlete@gmail.com.

Please feel free to provide your Instagram handle. If provided, we may tag you in posts that contain your running route.

Please provide a name for your run (for example, Soldiers Walk Loop or Duck Reach Track).

Please provide a location for your run, including a general location and area in the state (for example, 'Foreshore area, Burnie).

Please provide an approximate distance for the run, rounded up or down (for example, 4.2km).

How would you grade the difficulty of the run.

Please provide a 1-3 paragraph overview of the run - you can share what are the highlights, what to look out for and who it's recommended for. Please note: please provide a description of the route (i.e. where the run goes) in the next area.

Please provide a 2-3 paragraph overview of where the run goes - i.e. what directions (for example, park at Government House and head up Soldiers Walk, and turn right to complete the loop around Max's Infinity Loop).

Please provide a link to this activity (or segment) via Strava (or similar app, such as Garmin). For more information on how to share this, visit https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/221089587-Sharing-your-Strava-Activities

Please note: we will use this information to map the route, and won't link to your personal account (unless you'd like us to!).

If you'd like to provide any photos, please email these to thetassieathlete@gmail.com with your name and run name in the subject.
